This May, P P F F F . . . took over a little slice of East London, setting up shop on Broadway Market for our Spring/Summer pop-up, and what a run it was.

Set in the heart of Hackney, Broadway Market isn’t just a spot on the map; it’s a place steeped in community, creativity, and deep-rooted history. Once a key Victorian trading hub, dating back to the 1890s, it’s long been a centre of local trade, culture, and resistance. And being part of a place that has so much history, even just for a month is something we won't forget.

From the very first weekend, the energy on the street was electric. Sunshine nearly every day in May added to the buzz, and our Picante Hot Sauce Cuban Shirt quickly became a crowd favorite, almost selling out entirely by the final weekend. But beyond the sales and sunshine, what truly left a mark was the genuine connection we felt with the community.

Being able to meet people face to face was a reminder of why we do these events. From the heartfelt compliments to everyone who stopped by to say something kind and to everyone who spent their hard earned cash with us. Everyone showed up with warmth and genuine interest, making a visiting brand feel right at home. Watching a few of you leave wearing a newly purchased shirt off into the evening was something else entirely and left me with a smile, so thank you.

We were also grateful to be interviewed and featured by Appear Here, which added a lovely boost to what was already a vibrant and meaningful experience.

But this isn’t the end. We’re already planning the next pop-up. Likely somewhere nearby in the Hackney or Shoreditch area and we can’t wait to do it all again.
